Patients are advised that GP appointments are 10 minutes. Generally patients can book one appointment to discuss one problem, however if you require longer, please advise the reception team who will try to accommodate you.
For medically urgent requests, we will offer either an emergency or telephone consultation appointment the same day or within 24 hours.
Appointments can be either booked online or by telephone.
Please contact reception to obtain a username and password to access online services. Please note: You will need one for each member of your family.
These are booked ON THE DAY. Please telephone the surgery between 08:30 - 08:45 to make appointment to see the doctor.
Can be booked up to FOUR weeks in advance online or in person. Patients are advised, due to high demand, to call between 11:00 - 13:00 or 14:00 - 17:00 for advanced appointments. Please note: priority is given to patients over 65, children under 5, patients under our care register as well as patients who are in full/part time employment.
If you require an emergency appointment for a problem which has developed within the past 24 hours and you feel it will not wait until the next available routine appointment, you may request a telephone consultation. This will be at the end of morning surgery or at the beginning of evening surgery.
If you do not need to see the doctor / nurse but need medical advice, reception will allocate a time for the clinician to call you back. Please ensure you have given reception your up to date contact details.
We are one of six practices in the area to pilot "eConsult" from November 2015 to November 2016. We are no longer running this pilot. The CCG is looking to develop and improve access across Brent and this was one project they have considered to fulfil this aim. As a practice we were happy to be part of this pilot.
Our practice in cooperation with twelve practices in the area have now formed a service whereby when all appointments have booked at a practice, patients can b seen by another doctor at another practice on the same day or weekends.
Right of patient preference of practitioner
You do have the right to see your preferred practitioner but in case of emergency or same day appointment, please ensure that you clearly request your preferred GP. However, the reception team reception cannot hold any preference and will advise you if your GP choice is unavailable.
