Our Practice Nurse, Cristina, offers assistance in the following:
Smoking Cessation support, smears, Patient management of chronic diseases, minor surgery, flu and contraception injections, minor surgery including dressings, suture removals, child immunisations, routine monitoring and support.
We are part of the Brent GP access HUBs, which provides a service to all GP practices in Brent.
This service is aimed at increasing capacity in general practice, improving access and patient satisfaction across all practices in the Brent area. There are FIVE sites in Brent.
Appointments can be booked through the practice reception. When closed, patients can call 111 who can offer available appointments at a suitable location. The service provided is routine GP and Practice Nurse care whether on the day or can be booked in advance including weekends.
If your problem is urgent but not life threatening and you require a same day appointment with a doctor, the Brent GP Hub Service is open Monday to Sunday. Refer to the GP HUB Network (tab) for further details.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency if you have chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
